Good Weekend of Baseball

We finally got out and played some Shock Baseball. On Friday night, our league games, we lost the first game 11-0. We looked rusty and could tell it was our first night out. The second game we came around and played like we can. We ended up losing 5-4 in 2 extra innings, but was very proud of the boys. On Saturday was our 1st tournament. We played the SW Wolfpack and lost 5-3. This is the same team that beat us twice last year really bad. So we competed at a high level against them. We turned around and beat the Thunder 10-0. Going into Sunday single elimination, we got the 3 seed and played the Thunder again. We won 11-9 and moved on to play the wolfpack again. They beat us 5-4. In our 1st win of the year, Bill pitched a 1 hitter and earned the 1st win of the Spring. Adam picked up the other win of the weekend. Tyler earned the save. The first hit of the Spring goes to Hunter on a double over the left fielders head in our first game Friday. 9 of the 12 boys got to pitch this weekend and the other 3 will pitch on Wednesday in our next league games.
