Shock Splits Again!!!

We won 1 and lost 1 last night at Joplin. We played the NEO Warriors and lost 5-2 in the first game. They scored 4 runs in the 1st and we couldn't get the big hit or the key RBI. Joby came in and pitched 1+ innings in relief and pitched extremely well to keep the game close to give our bats a chance. We won the 2nd game 11-3. Hunter struggled some in the 1st inning but settled down and got 3 straight outs in the 2nd and Adam finished it off. We hit the ball and played better defense in the 2nd game, leading us to a win. We turned a unconventional double play last night. After recording the out at 1st, the runner at 3rd tried to score and Mason through it home and Colt got the runner in a run down. I believe everyone on the field was involved in the run down and we recorded the out to get out of the inning. Great job boys!!!! Don't forget practice tonight at 8 on the High School Baseball Field and games this Saturday in Miller at the Sandlot at 10AM, 12PM, and 4PM. Go Shock!!!!
